After the confirmed changes in the National Cabinet and while the country faces high levels of inflation, several increases which you have to pay attention to.
They wait go up in rents, prepaid, expenses, public transport, domestic workers and some basic services. In addition, some should be considered increases that have been advanced in the City of Buenos Aires, such as the taxi service and the subway.
In the case of rentals and without news of a change in the law, the increases forecasts for August will be around 61% according to the level of inflation, it is worth noting that only a month ago the estimated variation for this was 57%. The rental price can be calculated by consulting the ICL (Index of Lease Contracts) published by the Central Bank on its website.
Regarding the prepaid, for August there will be increases of more than 10% in the installments, according to the Cost Index that is applied bimonthly. It is the seventh variation applied by medical companies, which so far this year have accumulated 68.5% inflation.
Of the expenses, it is worth noting that the increases, already approved by the Ministry of Labor, will benefit some 80 thousand goalkeepers and would have an impact of up to 10% on expensesdepending on the characteristics of the building.
The price of public transport
The government made official the increments in the bus ticket for the AMBA (Buenos Aires Metropolitan Area) and will be around 40%. The minimum bus ticket will cost 25.20 pesos and that of the trains will be 9.50 and 17.50, depending on the branch.
The collective rates will have a scale according to the sections from three kilometers. The highest cost will be up to 32.20, as announced by the Executive authorities.
