This quarantine may be carried out at their home or at any place of accommodation at their own free choice and at the expense of the traveler.

For follow-up, the information about the contacts must be included in the Traveler’s Health Statement. In the event that the rapid antigen test is negative, the passenger should not perform isolation, but will report symptoms suggestive of COVID-19.

Any passenger over 16 years of age, who enters the country bound for the province of Galapagos, must present the mandatory vaccination card against COVID-19 with at least 14 days of validity after completing the scheme.

The safe conduct system only remains in force for tour leaders, as established in article 12 of the Tourist Guidance Regulations for the Special Regime of the Province of Galapagos).
