Along with his work as an actor, Martínez’s prolific career has also led him to work as a television host, where his participation in “A mover”, a program directed by Gloria Torres, as well as “El Expreso” and “Sonando en Cuba” stand out. Although many may not know it, he has also dabbled in music and painting.
The Cuban public probably remembers two significant moments that made Martínez the subject of debate: his televised wedding and his illness with cancer.
Wedding at the Havana Express
Jorge was at the center of controversy in 2006 when he broadcast his live wedding from the Red Room of the Capri, through the program “El Expreso”.
