Frisby SA BIC spoke out publicly after a video circulated on social networks in which a collaborator is seen expressing his disagreement at one of the chain’s points of sale in a shopping center in Ibagué. “They humiliate me here every day!” the collaborator of said company is heard saying in a video at the CC La Estación Ibagué, bursting into tears and screams that paralyzed the place and raised doubts among social media users.

Through an official statement dated Saturday, January 24, 2026, the company assured that it addressed the situation with “clarity and responsibility.”
In the document, the company explained that it decided to issue the statement “given the circulation of a video on social networks in which a collaborator is observed expressing his disagreement,” underlining the importance of offering an institutional context in the face of the events that generated comments and reactions on digital platforms.
Frisby reiterated his commitment to compliance with current labor regulations in Colombia. “At Frisby SA BIC we strictly comply with current labor legislation, the guidelines of the National Government and our internal protocols aimed at the protection, respect and dignity of people,” the company said in the statement.
Likewise, the organization indicated that once it became aware of the case, the corresponding internal protocols were activated. “Our Human Management and Wellbeing team immediately activated the health and safety protocols at work, providing the necessary support and attention to both the collaborator involved and the point of sale team,” the text stated.
The statement also highlighted that the company has formal mechanisms to address these types of situations. “As an organization, we have formal active listening channels to promptly address any situation that may affect the dignity, health or work environment of our collaborators and suppliers,” added Frisby.
Finally, the restaurant chain assured that it will continue to act under principles of transparency and dialogue. “From our higher purpose of feeding with love, we will continue to act with transparency, responsibility and humanity, convinced that dialogue and conscious management are fundamental to building healthy work relationships and contributing to a better society,” the company concluded.
