Neighborhood associations, transport groups, religious groups, merchants and sports clubs from the neighborhoods that make up the sector Bravelocated in the municipality of Santo Domingo Este, they marched this Wednesday in demand of the settlement of streetssupply of Water drinking water, titling, health center, termination of a child stay and other demands that were allegedly promised by the president Louis Abinader.

Joaquín Aguilera, president of the Bloc of Organizations of the Great Bravesaid that in the towns of La Caleta, Genesis and Brave the president promised the delivery of 90 million pesos for worksand none of the promises have been made.

He maintained that they did the civic stopthis time peacefully, to demand the fulfillment of the promises and warned that if they responded they would take other actions.

José Antonio Silva Jiménez, president of the Genesis Neighborhood Council, in Bravestated that they do not want to take violent actions, such as lighting tires in the streets and other forms of protest, but that people require solutions to multiple problems that affect them.

Helin Peña, from the community of La Piedra, deplored the job suspension that they carried out in the town next to the National Institute of Comprehensive Care for Early Childhood (Inaipi) and since the current government took office they have suspended this community work, affecting more than 370 families.

“The communities of La Piedra, Genesis and Brave They have been forgotten, both by the Government and by the city council, which is our turn. The streets they are impassable, we do not have subsidies, the women here are cooking with firewood”, Pena assured.

The march was carried out along the main street in the sector and was guarded by agents of the National Police, but no incident occurred.
