Petro announced that a decree will soon be issued that will centralize data from public entities in Barranquilla, where it is planned to establish a large data center that will position the city as the center of artificial intelligence in Latin America. ““We will start with all public government entities, starting with Ecopetrol, which will be the partner of the Atlantic and Caribbean artificial intelligence project,” he explained.

In relation to transport, the president advocated a switch to electric trains, rather than diesel, as part of the recovery of the national rail network. ““We are recovering the lines that our grandparents left us, but they have to be electric”he emphasized.
