Journalist Edward Quispe was released along with his cameraman Elmer Valdiviezo after being kidnapped by patrolmen from the La Palma community, Chadín district (Chota, Cajamarca) while he was conducting investigations into the case Yenifer Paredespresident’s sister-in-law peter castle.

Public Ministry opens investigation for the kidnapping of journalists
Through his social networks, the Public ministry reported that the aggressors will be investigated for crimes against freedom (kidnapping) and property (theft) to the detriment of the reporters.
“The Provincial Prosecutor’s Office opened an ex officio investigation into the events that occurred in the district of Chandín in Cajamarca, for the crime against freedom (kidnapping), and the crime against property (theft), to the detriment of 2 journalists from Fourth Power” says the statement from the Prosecutor’s Office.
