More and more are using alternative energies such as natural gas. In this sense, the first Liquefied Vehicular Natural Gas (NGV-L) charging point was recently inaugurated in Peru and South America.
This point is located in the “GESA” service station in Puente Piedra, affiliated with the network of stations that operate under the multilatina and multienergía brand Pimax and will meet the demand for heavy-duty vehicles that have this technology.
LNG-L is natural gas in the liquid phase, a fuel made up of 95% methane and to a lesser extent ethane, propane, butane, nitrogen and carbon dioxide.
Yuri Proaño, country manager of Primax Peru, stated that the start-up of this station marks a milestone in the use of more environmentally friendly energy.

From Primax they reported the benefits of this fuel for cargo transport:
Greater efficiency and savings. Transportation is essential for the cost of any product that we have nationally and internationally. The search to be more efficient is part of one of the benefits of this product. It is estimated that trucks with GNV-L technology generate close to 35% savings compared to those that use diesel.
More autonomy. Spokesmen for Cálidda, the natural gas concessionaire in our country, stated that this fuel offers greater autonomy, since it allows longer distances to be traveled, ensuring journeys of up to 1,600 km.
Less polluting. The GNV-L comes from natural gas, the cleanest hydrocarbon on the planet, the use of this energy reduces polluting emissions by up to 90% compared to other fuels such as diesel. In addition to offering greater storage security.
