The latest report from Coneval (National Council for the Evaluation of Social Development Policy) on the working poverty indicates that from the second to the third quarter of 2021 there was an increase of 0.9 percentage points of this indicator at the national level. In other words, more than 52 million people have a working income in their homes, but it is not even enough to eat well, not to mention that people need more than just eating.
Only four states in the country show levels of less than 25% of the population in working poverty: Baja California, Baja California Sur, Nuevo León and Colima.
