Rondón submitted an appeal with which he seeks to be discharged for the crime of bribery for which he was convicted in the first instance.
The Public Ministry accuses him of distributing the 92 million dollars that the Brazilian construction company Odebrecht said it paid in bribes to Dominican officials to obtain works.
