Welshman Gareth Bale announces his retirement from professional football

Through his social networks, Gareth Bale surprisingly announced his retirement from football at the age of 33, the now former striker who had a successful sports career where he played for the Southampton, Tottenham, Real Madrid and Los Angeles FC clubs, as well as in The Welsh team participated in the 2016 Euro Cup in France and 2020, closing with a flourish in the 2022 World Cup in Qatar where Wales was 64 years old who did not participate, he was also chosen 6 times as the best Welsh player of the year.

“After meditating deeply, I announce my immediate retirement from club and international football” reads the statement that the player posted on his different social networks on the morning of this Monday, January 9.

Bale had a career full of sporting successes and this is endorsed by his different achievements:
