Santo Domingo.- The Executive Director of the National Institute of Potable and Sewer Water (INAPA), Wellington Arnaud, announced that the multiple Miches-Zona Tourist Aqueduct, El Seibo province, will be inaugurated in February, since it is in its final phase.

With this work, the institution will bring quality water to more than 33,000 inhabitants, in addition to guaranteeing service to the hotel zone, once fulfilling a commitment assumed by President Luis Abinader.
As part of the tour, the official inspected the 300 -liter water plant per second.
The place has a classroom where students will receive talks about water purification processes and saving this vital resource.
Similarly, Arnaud visited the pumping stations in the Jovero and Yeguada rivers, whose capacity is 100 and 200 liters per second, respectively, for a total of 300 liters per second.
As expressed by the official, the work meets all quality standards to guarantee an effective and efficient service.
Arnaud recalled that the construction of the aqueduct had begun 20 years ago and was abandoned by past governments.
He explained that the regulatory deposit will serve as a tourist attraction, since the esplanade has a spectacular view of the city for the enjoyment of visitors.
This work includes taking and pumping stations in the Jovero and Yeguada rivers, as well as distribution networks and driving lines to the hotel zone.
