After 235 days of stoppage, doctors experts from the Ministry of Social Security ended the strike on Friday (11). The National Institute of Social Security (INSS) will normalize the service from Monday (14).
With the signing of the agreement, the category will report the days stopped, and the ministry will refund the discounted salary. Since August last year, about 300 expert doctors, about 10% of the total, have been stopped at the biggest strike in career history.
In a note, the National Association of Doctors Experts (ANMP) reported that the earnings fell short of the expected, but that the signed agreement brings openness to future advances. The entity also celebrated the reversal of disciplinary risks and the restitution of discounted salaries.
“Certainly, the pact signed does not correspond to the expectation of the parties involved, but guarantees the stabilization of the class conflict and the security of federal medical experts, especially through the exclusion of functional and disciplinary risks. Although it does not constitute what the category wanted, namely, the maintenance of the term clauses according to agreement No. 01/2022, the new pact signals the consolidation of new achievements.” The text.
The statement did not detail the category gains. Doctors experts claimed compliance with a 2022 agreement.
Abuse investigation
In January, the doctors expert strike were suspended. After APPEA of ANMP, the Superior Court of Justice (STJ) kept the point cut.
Also in January, the INSS announced the automatic resettlement of unchallenged expertise for doctors who did not join the strike. In April, Minister Gilmar Mendes of the Federal Supreme Court (STF) asked the Attorney General’s Office to determine possible abuse in the strike movement.
