A total of 7,456 new cases of COVID-19 and 11 deaths were registered from July 4 to 8, 2022, the Ministry of Health reported through the new epidemiological report, which will be carried out weekly starting this Friday.
The authorities detailed that there are 13,243 active cases in Panama, of which 12 are in hotels and 13,231 continue in home isolation, while 154 people are hospitalized, of which 29 are in the intensive care unit.
This report details that the districts that have reported the most cases of COVID-19 to date are Rufina Alfaro, Juan Díaz, December 24, San Francisco and Bella Vista.
Regarding the tests carried out, the Minsa detailed that they applied 6,637,861 tests for a positivity of 18.9%.
