The Ministry of Public Health (MSP) made this Monday the first weekly report on covid-19 cases, in which it reported that between April 17 and April 23, 2,158 new diagnoses were registered.
In that period, 26,500 tests were carried out and there were eight deaths of people diagnosed with covid-19.
In this way, the number of positive cases accumulated since the beginning of the pandemic is 897,867 and there were 7,203 deaths of people with the disease.
The MSP also reported that of the total ICU beds in the country, 58.4% are occupied, of which 2.3% are occupied by patients with covid-19.
