According to the epidemiological report of the Departmental Health Directorate (DDS), in the period from 06/26/2022 to 07/02/2022, 4,622 new cases and 16 deaths with a positive result for COVID-19 were detected in the country.
From the start of the pandemic to 07/02/2022 there are 962,251 cases and 7,351 deaths with a positive result for COVID-19. The active cases until 07/02/2022 are 3,607.
During the week, a total of 28,749 tests were carried out and the percentage of positive cases was 16.1%.
As of 07/02/2022, there are 4.9% of ICU beds occupied by COVID-19.
To date, 9 people are hospitalized with positive COVID-19 in the department: 1 in a private provider room and 8 in a public provider room.
