The week started cold with little cloudiness and minimum temperatures oscillating around 6.7°C in the capital of São Paulo, according to information from the Center for Emergency Management of the city of São Paulo (CGE).
The city’s meteorological stations indicated that today’s absolute minimum (13) reached 0.7°C in the region of Engenheiro Marsilac, in the extreme south of the city. The coldest dawn of the year continues to be on May 20, when there was an average of 6.3°C in the city and 1.1°C in Capela do Socorro, South Zone.
During the day, the predominance of sun helps to reduce the feeling of cold a little, but temperatures do not rise much and should not exceed 16°C. The relative humidity of the air can reach values close to 40%. In the late afternoon, cloudiness increases a little with the arrival of the sea breeze, but there is no forecast of rain.
The next few days will continue with sunshine and temperatures in gradual rise. Early mornings are still freezing in the metropolitan region of São Paulo. Tuesday (14) starts very cold, with thermometers hovering around 9°C at dawn. The maximum temperature must not exceed 17°C. There are no conditions for rain in São Paulo.
On Wednesday (15), the sun predominates and favors the gradual rise in temperatures, but the feeling of cold should still persist, with minimums around 10°C during the dawn and maximum below 19°C in the afternoon. .
