These disciples were devastated and had given up continuing with the other
apostles…; they were moving away from the community. They returned to the life of before,
They were walking in the wrong direction. At that moment, the risen Jesus approached and
walked with them. She spoke to them, explained to them patiently, accompanied them until they
they realized the mistake. God’s pedagogy is beautiful: he did not correct them
hastily, but knew how to wait for the right moment when his eyes opened.
And they decided to hurry back that night to meet the
