An exchange of weapons for food will take place from Monday, March 14 to Wednesday, March 16, at the Davis Peralta Jr. Gym (Old Kiwanis Gym) in the town of El Chorrillo, through the Pacifying My Neighborhood Program.

The governor of the province of Panama, Carla García, urged people to attend this activity since it is a totally confidential program, in which no questions are asked of the people who come to deliver weapons and ammunition.
Since last December 13, the Pacifying My Neighborhood Program has paid the sum of B/. 115,352.20 in redeemable vouchers, to people who have delivered 425 firearms, 37,283 ammunition, 358 suppliers, 28 explosives and 36 accessories.
