Yesterday, Monday, there was a demonstration in Market 4 to demand the dismissal of Juan Villalba, Director of the populous shopping center. This for assaulting the son of Leonardo Ojeda, President of the Association of Permit Holders of Market 4. He is a minor (17 years old), and the confrontation with fist bumps occurred last Saturday at the end of a television program.
Villalba, who was the one who received the worst part of the confrontation, even going to hospital for injuries to the head, left eye and ribs, gave his version of the incident through a live on Facebook.
He pointed out that the problem began the previous Tuesday, when he participated in another program. During the interview, Leonardo Ojeda made several calls to the production, claiming Villalba’s participation and not his.
For this reason, both are invited to another program, in the same media holding, for the following Saturday. During the interview, Villalba and Ojeda interdict each other and accusations that increased in tone as the minutes passed. Fact that finally ended with a fight between Antonio Acosta, the second permit holder invited to the program, and Ojeda himself.
Next, Ojeda’s son came out in defense of his father, thus attacking Acosta. Finally, Villalba appears on the scene, and ends up attacking the minor.
The Director of Market 4 was taken to the street, where two men closer to Ojeda were, who violently attacked him until he was helped by the guards of the television channel.
“The problem that Ojeda has is against justice, not against me. They took me outside the canal, where two more people were on the sidewalk and they started kicking me, “he said.
While Villalba recovers, Óscar “Nenecho” Rodríguez, Mayor of the city, and 22Federico Mora, Chief of Staff, will be in charge of the administrative procedures of the popular commercial site.
“We will not allow the law to be broken. We are not going to take any step back”, stated the director of Market 4.

Antonio Acosta, President of the Merchants Association of Market 4, and one of the protagonists of Saturday’s confrontation, affirmed that he is very sorry for the incident, but said that there is a contained rage against Ojeda that these situations generate.
“Ojeda keeps saying that I don’t want the people in the Market, that I want to get people out of their jobs. At a demonstration he incited people to come run over my business. I am 40 years old. I have been here for 35 years. My parents were here. How am I going to hate Mercado 4 ”, he expressed.
He pointed out that after the television program he confronted Ojeda to claim all the discomfort that he has been causing.
“You are a patrotero, a seller and a thief. Play the rooster and tell me now, was what I told him. I spilled water on Ojeda. His son is the one who attacked me, when I recovered, Ojeda poured hot water on me. The press says that I started the fight, ”he expressed.
Finally, he assured that he suffers permanent harassment from Ojeda, who constantly slanders him with megaphones.
