"We will defeat the lies"says Lula in Macapá

President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva participated, this Thursday (13), in deliveries and advertisements of actions of the federal government in Amapá. During the event in Macapá, Lula criticized the dissemination of fake news and said that in recent years, various information about the airport park has circulated to scare the population. “The people who lied saying that I was not here, saying that we were expropriating this area, saying that we were going to send the police here, will continue to lie,” he said about government opponents.

“We have to defeat the lies. We can’t pass on a lie forward, when we see a lies unlinked from any politician talking nonsense, we have to erase and not move forward, because if not, we are giving rope to the lie to win the truth ”He asked the population.

The act of donation of the area will allow land regularization and urbanization of the site, with improvements in the sanitation structure. The action has been awaited by the population for over 35 years.

Still in a speech, Lula cited other government priority projects for this year, such as the payroll loans for private initiative workers, the exemption of income tax for those who earn up to R $ 5,000 and the expansion of the Gas Aid Program to more than 20 Millions of families – Currently, 5.6 million families have the benefit.

Also signed at the event today, in Macapá, six terms of assignment of rights and donation of public areas under the management of the National Institute of Colonization and Agrarian Reform (Incra) to the Government of Amapá. The measure reaches the Uruguinha, Rio Pedreira, Tucunaré, aporem, Matapi and Matapi-Curiaú-Nova, with the aim of giving more legal certainty to individuals and entrepreneurs in the region.

During the ceremony, 282 housing units of the Nelson dos Anjos Residential Set were delivered in Macapá. The venture, totaling R $ 23.3 million, is a partnership with the State Government, the result of the first stage of the Growth Acceleration Program (PAC), signed in 2007.

The Ministry of Ports and Airports announced investments of R $ 89 million, in the next 25 years, in the port of Santana. The federal government officialized the lease of the MCP03 terminal for the installation of infrastructure for grain movement and storage, especially soy and corn. Among the expected improvements are the expansion of pier 1, deepening and paving dredging of the external space.

The visit also marked the beginning of the works of the Federal Institute of Tartarugalzinho, one of the 100 planned with the expansion of federal institutes across the country. The unit will receive R $ 25 million in investments from the new PAC – being R $ 15 million for infrastructure and R $ 10 million for equipment and furniture – and will have a capacity of 1,400 students.

Finally, the State Government has established with the Ministry of Management and Innovation in Public Services to join the National Management and Innovation Program (PNG), the first in the North region to join the initiative. Through it, the Federal Government will make available to the State and Municipalities a set of solutions that optimize public management in strategic areas, such as government purchases, digital transformation, heritage management and training courses for state public servants.
