The Ministry of Women, Gender and Diversity of the Nation will organize the cycle “We move the world”, within the framework of the International Day of Working Women to be held on March 8, reported that portfolio

The portfolio proposes a series of “cultural actions” to promote dissemination and debate around care work; political participation, sexual rights; diversity, artistic productions and epistemological and cultural contributions of lesbians, gays, bisexuals, transvestites, trans, intersex, non-binary, and other gender identities and sexual orientations.

In the 2022 edition this cycle will be called “We Move the World Towards Equality” to make visible “the obstacles that still exist for women and LGBTI+ to achieve equal conditions in each of the areas where they develop,” the Ministry specified.

the cycle will be between March 3 and 6where they will be held workshops, talks, exhibitions, artistic and audiovisual interventions, concerts, fairs and presentations around these themes.

The places will be the Kirchner Cultural Center, Tecnópolis, the headquarters of the Ministry and different parts of the country.

The portfolio explained that through various cultural proposals “we value the work that women do in an invisible way: they support well-being and life, put their bodies in crisis and rebuild the country with their work.”

And he added that “rethinking this reality also implies overthrowing power structures strongly rooted in our society to generate greater conditions of social justice.”

He also indicated that these issues are promoted “because we know that by increasing equality standards, gender violence is significantly reduced.”
