Pedro Castillo’s lawyer, Wilfredo Robles, referred to his client, who is serving preventive detention for 18 months for the alleged crime of rebellion after his attempt to coup. In this regard, the lawyer questioned the measure imposed against Castillo Terrones, specifically the uprising in arms.
“We have to raise the freedom of Pedro Castillo Terrones because there are no elements to impose preventive detention on him. Preventive detention cannot be placed for any fact that occurs to them. It has to be an act with the characteristics of a crime, ”said his lawyer from outside the Universidad Nacional Mayor de San Marcos.
