The president of the National Bank, Silvina Batakisaffirmed that Argentina will not be able to develop as a country if it does not do so from within, because “the world today demands energy, food and minerals”, during his participation in the First Federal Congress for Presidents of public and private banks of Argentina for Development, Innovation and Competitiveness, which was held in the department of Chilecito, La Rioja.
“We cannot develop as a country if we do not make it grow from within, because development will come from the interior of Argentina. The world today demands energy, food and minerals, and we can develop all of this throughout the country, and for that we have to redouble our efforts”, affirmed Batakis.
He also pointed out that “in these three days that we were in La Rioja, we have been touring different venturesamong those who saw the poultrywhich will be one of the most important in the country”.
The congress was attended by the mayor of Chilecito, Rodrigo Brizuela y Doria; the provincial Minister of Industry, Federico Bazán; the Provincial Chief of Staff, Juan Luna, and the Vice President of Banco Rioja, Marcelo Becerra.
Finally, Batakis added that “when the public banking is set in motion has clear objectives, and is efficient, and there is no possible competition.
