The director of Pemex assured that by the end of this year it is expected to reach 2 million barrels per day, which will achieve self-sufficiency in fuels.

The official assured that one year after the Mexican government bought the Deer Park refinery, the money invested has already been recovered as well as a profit.

“To buy Deer Park, an investment of less than 600 million dollars was allocated. In less than 1 year, it has left a profit for the country of 960 million, recovering all the investment plus 360,000”, he stated.
