According to Gilberto Melquiades Miranda, deputy prosecutor for Common Crimes of the Attorney General’s Office of the State of Tabasco, the attackers were aiming for an objective, however, he denied that it was an event that is linked to organized crime.
According to reports, the attack occurred in DBar, in the Tabasco 2000 area, around 3:53 a.m. on November 24.
The state authority detailed that five people were found dead, while one more died while being treated.
Four subjects also received treatment for gunshot wounds, while a woman was treated for beatings. The rest of the injured are still being sought, as they were transferred to different hospitals.
Two people murdered at a wedding
The second attack occurred at a wedding that was taking place in Jalapa, Tabasco. According to authorities, one person was killed and two more were injured.
José Manuel Pérez, mayor of Jalapa, reported that five armed men opened fire on the guests. Three people were injured, but one died due to the severity of the impacts.
“Last night (under a report from the Municipal Police), we had an act of violence committed by several people in the town casino. They report more than five, heavily armed, in which firearm detonations were made. , resulting in three people being injured, one seriously, who unfortunately lost his life,” the Mayor explained.
In videos circulating on social networks, the moment in which the attack begins, just when the bride was going to throw the bouquet to other women during the event, can be seen.
According to the Deputy Prosecutor for Common Crimes, the man who was murdered was identified as Bladimir “Z”, who was allegedly engaged in illicit activities.
“As for the event that occurred in Jalapa, it has no connection, apparently, from the preliminary investigations, with this event that occurred in the nightclub,” he said of both attacks in Tabasco.
