Water supply in the Valley of Mexico is regulated after work in Cutzamala

Jobs were reduced from 30 to just 4 days

The works were carried out in four days and not in 30 as originally announced. CFE personnel worked uninterrupted in less than 96 hours, who made the temporary replacement with two mobile transformers, one of which will serve as backup.

The first plan was to dismantle, move and reassemble a backup transformer that is in Pumping Plant No 1, some 75 kilometers from the Los Berros water treatment plant, for which reason it was reported that the water supply was affected by approximately one month.
