The 4th Technical Irrigation Day will be held tomorrow at Inia thirty -three
The Water and Sustainable Development Engineering career of the UTEC in collaboration with the National Institute of Agricultural Research, organizes the 4th Irrigation Technical Day called “Water Management: Stability and Productivity in Agricultural-Gang rotations”.
The objective of this encounter is to share experiences with emphasis on productive and economic results of different irrigation methodologies, especially by surface and sprinkler, as well as soil management to facilitate the incorporation of new crops in agricultural-gain rotations such as geoniverse, drainage and enchanted.
“It is the second year that we are going to do the day in the east of the country, this time it will be in thirty -three” confirmed Federico Campos.
“In this new edition we will continue to review the different technologies in irrigation and also in management, what is for the incorporation of new crops and pastures in agricultural-livestock rotations, in this case especially concentrated in what is the east zone” The teacher of Iagua advanced.
“We chose thirty -three for this edition of the Conference because UTEC has a lot to do in the east of the country, as is the spirit of the University of being open inside” held. “Thirty -three has a lot of tradition in the irrigation of the hand of rice. We believe that being one of the regions of the country that has more water resources and also expert in surface irrigation, it is an opportunity to incorporate this technology in other crops and pastures too” broad.
The day is aimed at a broad audience, mainly to producers and technicians who work in the area. “UTEC teachers will also participate, as well as students because we already have several generations received, some of them are already working” reported. “We have several cases of students who were received recently and are working in the East, so we hope many go and participate,” express.
