Paso Severino’s reserves grew for the ninth consecutive day, according to a new report on water supply in Montevideo and the metropolitan area

The government issued this Saturday a new report referring to the quality of water in SBI. Chloride values were within the limits allowed by the Ministry of Public Health (MSP) in the three pumping lines.
The central axis of Montevideo was 85 mg/l; in eastern Montevideo and the coast of Canelones, 98 mg/l; and in the West of Montevideo of 79 mg/l.
Sodium values also remained within the allowable range. The central axis of Montevideo was 84 mg/l; in eastern Montevideo and the coast of Canelones, 91 mg/l; and in the West of Montevideo of 81 mg/l.
In both cases there was a new improvement compared to previous days and the levels were the lowest since the Presidency began to report daily the amount of salt and chlorides.
The portfolio exceptionally fixed (and then extended for a longer time) the values of sodium at 420 milligrams per liter and those of chlorides at 720 milligrams per liter.
Water consumption in Montevideo and the metropolitan area was 513,930 cubic meters, above what was registered the previous day (510,057).
While, The reserves in Paso Severino are at 5,093,007 cubic meters out of a total of 70 million cubic meters of water that this reservoir can store. The day before they were at 3,401,069.
In this way, the reserves of Paso Severino grew for the ninth consecutive day. They are currently in a 7.27% of its storage capacity.
