Event held in the region of Pirituba, in the capital of São Paulo, marks today (8) the opening of the Week of Incentive to Study and Reading in the city of São Paulo.
Called Esquenta, the activity promotes, in the Gran Reserva Park, book exchange, storytelling and face painting. Children can also have fun with inflatable toys, theatrical presentations and reading excerpts from literary works in musical format.
The program is free and activities start at 2 pm today.
The São Paulo Study and Reading Incentive and Guidance Week is a municipal law and aims to awaken, develop and encourage the practice. The event is part of the city’s Official Calendar of Events and is held in schools, libraries, parks and cultural institutions.
In addition to storytelling, the program includes guided visits, film presentations, soirées and book distribution. online.
