Warm temperatures between 34 and 40 degrees Celsius with some rain will predominate today in the weather conditions, reported the Dominican Institute of Meteorology (Indomet).).
The most noticeable hot sensation continues to be recorded in Santiago Rodríguez with 40 degrees; Monte Plata, La Altagracia and Montecristi with 36 degrees, according to records from the Hydrometeorology division.
In Santo Domingo Este and the National District, partly cloudy with a slight chance of rain, and in Santo Domingo Norte, partly cloudy at times with short-lived showers.

However, in the afternoon hours there will be occasional moderate showers, thunderstorms and possible gusts of wind until the early hours of the night in the provinces of La Altagracia, Monte Plata, Maria Trinidad Sanchez, Sanchez Ramirez, Samana, Duarte, El Seibo, Hato Mayor, La Vega, Monsignor Nouel, Santiago, Elias Pine, San Juan, Pedernales, Independencia, Bahoruco, Dajabon, Santiago Rodriguez, Puerto Plata, Valverde and Monte Cristi, generated by the combination of local effects, including the influence of the warm wind from the east / southeast.
At sea, waves are still good, at 3 to 4 feet high, providing favorable conditions for all vessels to navigate on the coasts of the Atlantic Ocean and the Caribbean Sea, Indomet reported.
Meteorology reported that mTomorrow Sunday, the east/southeast wind direction and the daytime warming will cause increases in cloudiness with moderate showers at times, thunderstorms and possible gusts of wind, mainly over different areas of Santiago, La Vega, Puerto Plata, Valverde, Santiago Rodríguez, Dajabón, Elías Piña and Monte Cristi.
