War in Ukraine shoots up the price of bread for the dead

Inflation in supplies has led to sweet bread being 22.55% more expensive than in October 2021.

Since Vladimir Putin decided to invade Ukraine, the pockets of bread lovers in Mexico have been bombarded with increases. At this point in the year, the price of wheat flour has increased more than 38% at an annual rate, causing pan de muerto to be sold at almost double the price of 2021.
