War in Europe: 28 Chileans have left Ukraine according to the Foreign Ministry

The Chilean Foreign Ministry reported this afternoon that the number of nationals who have been able to leave Ukraine – due to the conflict between this country and Russia – amounts to 28.

It was the Minister(s) of Foreign Affairs, Carolina Valdivia Torres, the one in charge of communicating the news: “Over the weekend, more compatriots have managed to leave Ukraine. There are already 28 nationals who have left, either to other countries of the European Union or even to our country”.

“Such is the case of Walter Gallardowho arrived in Chile yesterday and from Rodrigo Espinozawhich also arrived in our country today,” he added.

Consulates

Valdivia also stated that “our consulates have continued to provide advice to Chileans who are in the area. If any of them require assistance for repatriation, please contact our consulates.”

“Furthermore, our consulates constantly monitor the safety and health conditions of our fellow citizens and how the area is doing,” he added.

The Secretary(s) of State pointed out that our country has “a coordination with other friendly countries, as well as with other international organizations, such as the Red Cross, to indicate what the current conditions of the place are.”
