Wanda del Valle, ex-partner of the despondent criminal known as ‘Maldito Cris’, is in the custody of the Peruvian National Police (PNP) after being handed over by agents from the Directorate of Criminal Investigation and INTERPOL of Colombia this Monday night.
The detainee will be transferred to Lima in the next few hours to serve 18 months of preventive detention ordered against her by the Judiciary.
Del Valle, nicknamed ‘The Little Baby of Crime’, is accused of the alleged crimes of conspiracy and offering to hire a hitman.
According to investigations, he would have offered $40,000 to attempt the life of PNP Colonel Víctor Revoredo Farfán, who at the time was leading the operations to capture Christopher Fuentes Gonzales, alias ‘Maldito Cris’.
The transfer of the detainee took place after the Peruvian Council of Ministers approved her extradition through a supreme resolution issued on January 22. This measure was key for Del Valle to be brought before the Peruvian authorities and answer for the serious accusations against her.
Wanda del Valle’s capture occurred on December 7, 2023 in the south of Bogotá, after having remained a fugitive for six months. During that time, the authorities of both countries coordinated actions to locate her and guarantee her arrest.
Currently, under strict custody of the PNP, Del Valle will be transferred to a penitentiary center in Lima, where she will serve preventive detention while the investigations progress.
