Voters can check online where they will vote on Sunday

Voters who will exercise their right in the first round of the 2024 municipal elections, next Sunday (6), and in a possible second round, on the last weekend of October (27), can consult the polling place. Voters can check online where they will vote on Sunday

In the Electoral Justice application, the e-Título, and the website of the Superior Electoral Court (TSE) it is possible to check the zone and electoral section.

The voting location will now appear updated. Therefore, if a request was made for the temporary transfer of the polling station within the same municipality, the survey will indicate the new location where the voter must go, with the complete address of the location, zone and section. .

Node website

On the TSE portal, the user can continue the search in two ways. The first is through the “Electoral services” tab, located at the top of the website, and then in “Voting location/electoral zones”. The user will be redirected to the new space onlinewhere you must select the option “See Where to Vote”, right after the title.

On the page titled “Electoral assistance”, in the eighth item, the voter simply needs to fill in the first field with their name, voter registration number or Individual Taxpayer Registration Number (CPF). Then, the interested party must complete the date of birth, mother’s name and click on the “Enter” icon.

The pages of the 26 regional electoral courts (TREs) also have space to search for this information. Once the data is filled in, the page will inform the registration number, the electoral zone and the voting location.

The second way to check the polling place and the ballot number is the system Electoral Self-Service – Title Net.

E-Title

The e-Título application, the digital version of the voter registration card, informs the voting location right on the home screen, below the voter’s name. Furthermore, using geolocation tools, the app guides the person to the polling station.

The application can be downloaded for free from virtual application stores for smartphones that operate Android and IOS systems, preferably until Saturday, October 5th.

What to take

On election day, it is not mandatory to take the title, which can be replaced by the digital version, the e-Título.

The document must be in good standing. Anyone who has their electoral registration canceled or suspended will not have their title on the polling station list.

In the section, only the presentation of an official document with a photo will be required, including e-Title, identity card, social identity, passport, professional card recognized by law, reservist certificate, work card or National Driving License (CNH) .

The Electoral Court explains that documents will be accepted even if their expiration date has expired, as long as it is possible to prove the voter’s identity.

Voters

Brazil has 155.9 million people eligible to vote in this year’s election, in 5,569 municipalities. Only in the Federal District there will be no elections. Voting is mandatory for people over 18 years old, up to 69 years old. It is optional for illiterate people, those over 70 years old and those between 16 and 18 years old.

If the voter has an electoral domicile abroad, he or she will not vote in the municipal elections for the positions of mayor, vice-mayor and councilor as, in this case, there is no vote in transit. It is not necessary to justify absence from voting, which is only required in elections for President of the Republic,
