The Brazilian men’s volleyball team lost to China by 3 sets to 0 (25/23, 31/29, 25/23) this Sunday morning (12), by the League of Nations, at the Nilson Nelson gym, in Brasília. With the result, the Brazilian team ends the first week of disputes of the tournament with two defeats and two victories.
The highlight of the match was the Chinese pointer Zhang. He scored 25 points. On the Brazilian side, Alan was the highest scorer with 19 hits. In the next few days, the team travels to Sofia, Bulgaria, for the second stage of the tournament.
The men’s team’s next game is scheduled for June 22 against Poland in the rematch of last season’s final. In this stage, Brazil will still face Serbia, Iran and Bulgaria. And then it faces Germany, Canada, France and Japan between the 5th and 10th of July, in Osaka, Japan.
