Vladimir Cerrón’s pencil is disguised as a ‘ball’ so as not to lose control over Junín

The division in the party founded by the sentenced Vladimir Cerron and the flight of its militants and sympathizers is becoming more evident because many of them sought “refuge” in other groups, such as the regional movement Caminemos Juntos por Junín, whose symbol is the ball and its candidate for the regional chair is Dimas Aliaga Castro.

In this campaign, despite the fiscal investigations, no messages of audits or supervision of the works of Peru Libre are heard by the candidate Aliaga, who curiously has as a brother-in-law one of the extremely trusted men of Cerrón who works as manager Regional Administration.

This is Luis Alberto Salvatierra Rodríguez, who worked alongside Cerrón since his first government (2011-2014) and at the beginning of 2019 he was summoned again.

The proximity of Salvatierra and Cerrón was such that it raised suspicions in the Public Ministry that decided to include the official and 59 other people in an investigation of money laundering against the leader of Peru Libre.

Another fact that links these characters is that they both presented, together with 18 other people – including GRJ workers and officials – a habeas corpus against Judge July Baldeón Quispe in which they asked to stop the “threats” of deprivation of liberty as a result of an investigation published by Peru21 on the arrests that were delayed by the case ‘Los Dinámicos del Centro’.

THE PENCIL IS ‘DISGUISED’ AS A BALL

A photograph spread on social networks, where the current governor of Junín and a member of Peru Libre, Fernando Orihuela, can be seen, together with a group of supporters of Caminemos Juntos, has raised suspicions of a supposed electoral pact.

“There is an alliance between the Free Peru party and Caminemos Juntos. Its current administrator of the Regional Government (of Junín) is the brother-in-law of the owner of Dimas Aliaga’s baseball game (Caminemos Juntos) and if they win, they will never audit. A clear example is that they don’t talk about ‘The Dynamics’ or the ‘Tyrants,’” said Ángel Unchupaico, former regional candidate for Sustainable Junín.

Carlos Alberto Tolentino Jaime, who is running for Huancayo councilor for Caminemos Juntos, has acknowledged that he knows Orihuela, but denied an alliance.

“We have not made any pact because we do not need to. Mr. Fernando Orihuela had just been crossed out and he was not going to the elections and, like any citizen, he approached because at that time we were already preparing our walk. (…) I shook his hand like any citizen and that does not mean that they are going to demonize us for it, ”he pointed out. When asked about his links with the ball, Orihuela denied it.

As a result of the clear evidence of ex-militants and supporters of Peru Libre, current suppliers and characters close to the pencil party who today take shelter in Caminemos Juntos, Peru21 went to the regional headquarters where he spoke with the brother-in-law of the candidate Dimas Aliaga. He denied being the bridge of the alliance between the Cerrón party and Caminemos Juntos.

“I haven’t talked to my brother-in-law for a long time, nor have I talked to Vladimir (Cerrón),” he remarked. Likewise, we looked for Dimas Aliaga’s version, but he did not respond.

The Comptroller’s Office revealed that eight officials from the GRJ and the Huancayo Consortium, in charge of executing the work of the Mariscal Castilla school, in the district of El Tambo (Huancayo), generated an economic loss of S/2′ 709,774.

The forceful report in which Luis Salvatierra Rodríguez is accused of being allegedly responsible and indicates that the officials approved the work and authorized payment for works partially executed and others not executed in the educational modules.

KEEP IN MIND:

• On July 27, Fernando Orihuela irrevocably renounced his candidacy for the Regional Government of Junín with Peru Libre.
• Orihuela assumed the regional chair in 2019 after Vladimir Cerrón was sentenced for corruption. Thus, his management ended in December, and he had another additional period.
• In August, Clever Mercado, who had been in charge of the Regional Government while Orihuela was campaigning, was arrested along with another official for wanting to bribe councilors to prevent Orihuela’s return.
