The capture of Vladimir Cerron has become more complex due to the interference of technological elements that make it difficult to locate their telephone signal, according to statements made to RPP by the commander general of the National Police, Víctor Zanabria. From Tacna, Zanabria indicated that the high-tech objects complicate tracking in real time from the mobile device of Cerrón, who has been a fugitive from justice since October 2023.
“The high technology we have today allows distort Any signal that is repeated by WiFi communication systems. (…) There is an antenna that retransmits the communication, and if we add a retransmitter to that, it would no longer allow us to locate where it is being transmitted from. These technological elements are what They do not allow real-time location of the phone or other means that (Vladimir Cerrón) uses to connect to public networks,” said the general commander of the National Police.
Despite this, Zanabria clarified that the leader of Peru Libre is still in National territorybut will not give further details that could hinder the intelligence work that the Police has been carrying out.
This question arises after this last Thursday, the congressman Jose Maria Balcazar said he could contact Cerron Rojas via phone calls. “If I call him now, he will answer me,” he said to the press who approached him in Congress.
