Previously, in May, the judge decided not to continue with the hearing, since Vladimir Cerrón’s lawyers, Sixto Rupay Chamorro Y Luis Mayhua Quispecould not be present.
The prosecutor Jesús Canchanya, from the Fourth Office of the Junín Anti-Corruption Prosecutor’s Office, denounced Vladimir Cerrón and 10 others involved, including businessmen and former officials of the Regional Government of Junínfor the crime of collusion, for which he requested four years in prison for all those involved.
According to the tax thesis, the Regional Government of Junín had no reason to carry out the aerodrome project in Orcotunaprovince of Concepción, since there was already a position of the Ministry of Transport and Communications (MTC) that assured that said region already had an airport.

Another factor that delayed this trial against the former governor of Junín was the death of the lawyer Enrique Encina Quispe, defender of two of the accused, so the case could not be seen before.
