The chairman of the Congressional Intelligence Committee, Jose Cueto (Popular Renovation), reported that his working group will summon the head of the National Intelligence Directorate (DINI) in order to report on a journalistic complaint spread last Sunday involving the leader of Peru Libre, Vladimir Cerron.
“Given the revelations of the press about the alleged improper use of reserved funds of the DINI, its head will be summoned to the next session of the Intelligence Commission, in addition, the Comptroller will be requested to carry out a detailed control of its funds according to DL 1141 ″he wrote on his social networks.
His statement comes after Willax TV’s “Contracorriente” program revealed the testimony of an effective collaborator according to which Vladimir Cerrón receives 40 thousand soles a month for posing as an “undercover agent” of the National Intelligence Directorate (DINI). .
According to said effective collaborator, Fernández came to the position thanks to the coordination between Richard Rojas García –Pedro Castillo’s campaign manager and Vladimir Cerrón’s right-hand man- and his nephews Gian Marco Castillo and Fray Vásquez.
In relation to this issue, in a dialogue with Canal N, Cueto Aservi considered it “unbelievable” that such a high amount be paid to an alleged “undercover agent”.
“The DINI does not [pagar esos montos] but the operational entries, normally these payments to agents or collaborators are not of that amount because the Comptroller constantly verifies the funds and 40 thousand soles would have jumped immediately, in any case we are going to investigate”, He expressed this Monday night.
