The Secretary General of Free Peru, Vladimir Cerronearns more than 12,000 soles per month with the direct public financing that the National Office of Electoral Processes (ONPE) delivered to the pencil party for having representation in the Congress of the Republic this year.
According to the information issued by Latina, the former governor of Junín appears with a salary for activities carried out with Peru Librea political group that led to peter castle to Government Palace.
In the details of the investigation it was known that Cerrón earned 3,500 soles in February; however, for the months of February, April and May, he managed to obtain a salary of 12,500.
Although the ONPE delivered more than one million soles to Peru Libre and the party has not yet reported having fully used the figure, the highest expense has been Cerrón, according to the latest financial report.
In this regard, Fernando Tuesta, former head of the ONPE, points out that direct public financing “is the money that is given to the parties so that they can use it in ordinary operations.” Regarding this, he indicates that we are talking about “public money, money that comes from the taxes we pay to the State.”
“It was never thought that this was going to be the idea; that is to say, it was not to keep the leadership cadres of the parties,” added Tuesta in statements to Latina.
At the close of this note, the Free Peru party did not comment on the payment it makes in favor of its secretary general, Vladimir Cerrón.
