“Sentenced for trying to build an airport for Huancayo. PPP contract declared NULL. The Regional Government of Junín did not invest a single penny,” the former regional governor tweeted.
Sentenced for trying to build an airport for Huancayo. PPP contract declared NULL, the GRJ did not invest a single cent. It is postulated that we would have put the GRJ at risk, reparation of 2 million, disqualification from employment, electoral and exit impediment is imposed. I will appeal.

In 2014, the then governor and Luis García Morón, legal representative of the Wanka Grand Aerodrome consortium, signed a contract for the construction of the aerodrome in June of that year without considering the pronouncement of the General Directorate for Investment Policy (DGPI) of the Ministry of Economy and Finance (MEF).
Due to this, the Sixth Supraprovincial Unipersonal Criminal Court Specialized in Corruption of Officials of Junín sentenced him and ordered the payment of S/2 million 18 thousand 180 as civil compensation.
The sentence, however, will be effective if in second instance it is confirmed by a court. On Cerrón Rojas there is already another sentence for the crime of incompatible negotiation issued in 2019.
