The Minister of Health, Carla Vizzotti, signed with five public laboratories of the provinces of Córdoba, Río Negro, Santa Fe and San Luis inter-administrative agreements for the acquisition of 15 drugs that are part of the kits distributed throughout the country by the Remediar Program, reported the wallet.

Vizzotti said that these drugs are distributed to health centers throughout the country to guarantee access to people with exclusive public coverage in prioritized areas such as sexual and reproductive health, perinatal health and palliative care linked to oncology.
In this sense, he pointed out that “the support and participation of the public production of medicines is very important, not only because of what production in the provinces implies, but because of what it means in terms of costs for the national strategy.”
For its part, the president of the National Agency of Public Laboratories (ANLAP), Ana Lía Allemand, stated that “during the period 2020-2021 they consolidated 34 contracts for an amount of 900 million pesosand in this period 2022 we are for the signing of 7 new contracts for an amount of 454 million”.
Meanwhile, the dNational Director of Medicines and Health Technology, Emiliano Melero, He explained that the investment and work carried out with public laboratories between 2020 and 2021 is “in highly positive numbers.”
Thus, in relation to the market cost of these drugs, he explained that the strategy it meant for the State “almost 3 billion pesos of savings”.
