Starting this Thursday, February 24, visits to the La Joya Penitentiary Complex will be reactivated, taking new biosecurity measures.
According to the General Directorate of the Penitentiary System, family members who come to visits must have the complete vaccination schedule and show their vaccination card, or failing that, present a negative antigen test 72 hours prior.
Visitors must also comply with the biosecurity measures of hand washing, use of a mask, face shield and physical distancing.
As part of these new measures, visits have been established by blocks and in this way avoid crowding as much as possible. This Thursday would correspond to the visit to the inmates of La Joyita from pavilions 14,5,13 and 7, as well as to pavilion 2 and patio 1 of sector C of Nueva Joya.
For their part, zones 10-1, 10-2, 10-3, 10-4 and 17 of La Joyita, pavilion 2 and patio 2 of sector C will receive visits on Friday.
