Two visitors tried to enter prohibited objects in the prison establishments of Arequipa and Tacna, this as part of the control and security measures in the southern prisons of the country.
Thus, INPE staff in the Arequipa penaltyat 2:35 p.m., the citizen Beatriz Paja Churata was intervened, who intended to enter its intimate parts an ovoid object containing cigarettes. The intervened had planned to visit her husband, the inmate Julio Huamaní Coronel.
Same situation was repeated in the Tacna penalty, Where the visitor Edwin Ccama Fernández, nephew of the inmate Peter Hinojosa Mamani, was caught carrying an HP brand USB.
Therefore, both cases were informed of the competent authorities for the corresponding investigations and procedures.
With these measures, the prevention of entry of objects and prohibited substances in prison enclosures and strengthening security for the benefit of the penitentiary population and society.
