Around 6:00 p.m. this Sunday, an assault occurred in a pantry located in the Settlement 12 de Julio de San Pedro del Paraná.
In this episode, the owner of the business premises, José Peralta Villalba (41), who was shot in the right side of the chest, and his partner Amalia Gimenez Bogado (34) were victims.
According to the police report, two men arrived at the scene posing as customers and, seconds later, one of them drew a firearm and called out the assault, firing a shot at Peralta’s humanity.
Later, three other people who were accomplices of the criminals entered the pantry. They managed to win the sum of G. 3 million in cash along with clothing and food that were displayed for sale.
The owner of the business was helped by neighbors and taken aboard a private vehicle to the District Hospital of San Pedro del Paraná, although due to the seriousness of the injury it was decided to refer him again to the Regional Hospital of Encarnación.
The National Police and the Prosecutor’s Office continue with the investigations to try to find the criminals who perpetrated this armed robbery.
