The violent assault was recorded this Thursday morning in a private home located in the Potrero Yapepo Company, José Leandro Oviedo district, Itapúa department.
The victims were Gregorio Franco Navarro and his wife, Celmira Moreno de Franco. It is worth mentioning that the man is currently a candidate for president of the red branch of his district.
The Police reported that they became aware of the incident as a result of a call made by an unidentified person, who alerted them to what had happened. The report indicates that Mr. Gregorio Franco was about to leave his home, aboard his truck and when he left in front of his house, a car blocked his way, from which the alleged perpetrators got out, with a firearm in his hand. hand.
They did not take any object from inside the house. However, when they left, they seized the aforementioned van and two cell phones belonging to the victims, leaving them inside the kitchen. After what happened, an arrest was made by the aforementioned van, through the National Police radio system.
