The Venezuelan national team Vinotinto Sub-21 will face Colombia in the semi-finals of the tournament Maurice Revello. The match will take place this Wednesday, June 8, at 8:00 am (Venezuela time), at the Salon de Provence stadium in France.
La Vinotinto reaches the semifinals as leader of the Group B, with 8 of the 9 possible points, while Colombia qualified as leader of Group C, with 7 points.
Venezuela managed to advance to the next phase of the tournament after Sunday’s game against the Ghana team. Those led by Fernando “El Bocha” Batista equaled their rivals 1-1 and added an additional point on penalties 4-2.
For their part, the Colombians reach the semifinals after beating the Japanese team 1-2 and thus remain in first place in Group C.
The other match to be played in the tournament will be between the French and Mexican teams. Twill take place on June 12, in midday hours.
France reaches the semifinals of the tournament as leader of Group A with 7 points. Mexico qualified for the semifinals as second in Group B, with 6 points.
The winners of both matches will meet in the final.
