The Buenos Aires municipality of Villa Gesellcontinues in this second half of the year with almost full occupancy reaching 97% as reported by the local Secretary of Tourism.
“The second half of January began with an occupancy of 97%, reaching a full and record occupancy in the southern towns, such as Mar de las Pampas, Las Gaviotas and Mar Azul,” the Secretary of Tourism told Télam this Saturday, Marcelo Iglesias.
“During this third weekend of this second fortnight, we expect full occupancy in the more than 30,000 hotel beds that we count without mentioning the non-hotel rooms such as apartments, cabins and houses,” he said.
The official emphasized “that Villa Gesell has many attractions to be enjoyed as a family such as visiting the Querandí lighthouse, the house of Carlos Gesell, strolling through the Totem, the wind spa, enjoying a gastronomy suitable for all visitor pockets and participating in recreational and cultural activities scheduled for this summer season 2023”.
Iglesias mentioned that during the first half of January “we observed an 11% increase in the number of people compared to the same period in 2022”.
In the case of real estate “they had a 25% increase in demand compared to the previous year and in relation to hotel occupancy, we observed an increase of 1% compared to last year” ended
