On Saturday, the official maintained that a flock could have caused the helicopter to crash and dismissed the version of a witness who assures that the helicopter faced an armed attack.
“That person was interviewed, but when searching the area, no evidence was found to corroborate that version, and if that was the case, the personnel traveling in the helicopter were able to repel the attack,” he said.
Instead, “in one of the clearest videos you can see a flock going there, the helicopter was flying low. At the end of the day, for these operations, the idea is that the helicopter is lower than the allowed height, ”he declared.
Figueroa assured that no line of investigation has been ruled out and the videos that have been disseminated in the media about the crash of the aircraft are being reviewed.
